Hi everyone! I am very excited to announce that we have just completed a secret project we have been working on for the last few weeks. It's a brand new picture book and I illustrated it myself!
This book is based on our characters from the puppet shows we used to do (and hope to start doing again soon!) It is available for preorder at BanyanHouse.org/preorder. I worked really hard illustrating all the pictures by hand (of course I used NO GENERATIVE AI!) and the story was written by EJ. It tells the class conscious tale of a workhorse who tries his best to manage his finances and save up to buy a house. Unfortunately, he learns the hard way that the stock market does not exist for workers to get ahead in the world!
Based on a passage from Capital Vol. III, the book includes a full lesson in the back with clear, simple explanations of the underlying Marxist economic theory.
The first 1,000 orders of the hardcover edition will be the special “Vanguard Edition.” Soft covers are also available, and, as with all Banyan House publications, we will be making the PDF version of the book available for free as soon as we are finished prepping the digital files.
