Not looking forward to the hot week ahead but as I was able to get a nice amount done despite the previous hot week, I've hope of not melting utterly (though if I do become a puddle and get nothing done, that is also okay).
-Finished modifying the foam insert for Chase's camera bag. Had exactly the amount of thread on the needle needed, which always feels like wizard work.
- Put together an Analogue Static & Snow Pack, a $0+ little bundle of assets to play with.
- Worked on the next month's newsletter, deeply grateful I send it out the first Monday of the month and September's Monday isn't until the 7th, giving me extra time.
- Made two new pieces of good-enough music to back the old videos I'd been editing.
- Dropped them onto those videos and put the videos up! Please enjoy a gnome getting fired and then unrelated consequences and a knight going on an adventure.
- The blog post this week was about why I'm bothering to edit these old videos, the short of it is: it's fun, I think they're still funny. Plus, as a friend pointed out, they're real time capsules.
I've started teaching myself some basic rotoscope with another video but its extra curricular for me, no need to finish any time soon. Basically! I've hit all my goals for August: shared some old videos (which meant learning some colour editing things, doing music etc), sew some new clothes (a pair of shorts I need to get a picture of but my bros, I am sweating so much, just believe me they are Very Cute), keep working on this new book.
Upcoming week is plotting the goals for the last third of the year (!!) and wrapping up the newsletter for September. Thank you, as always, for your support!
