It's a new month, which means that a newsletter is going out tomorrow, yay.
- I've finished up the layout for the eventual ebook/print version of The Consoling Divide, hooray. Holding off on getting a test of it a bit as I am casually doing some final line edits. But, nice to know that when this is done, uh... next spring? I'll be able to have the entire thing available.
- I ordered more stamps, which is always exciting. The occasion, other than general need, is a postcard/mail game I'm playing with a friend. Gotta get mine out in the mail for tomorrow, fun fun stuff.
- The "at least ten minutes of active writing daily" continues. In bits and pieces this latest longform comes together, among all the other things.
- For the final bits of this video I'm doing I decided I needed background music, so I made some I talked about it in this week's blog post, if you'd like to hear the tracks I put together (loose arrangement of a song from the 1600s).
We also went to the aquarium yesterday, which is always a joy. There was a kid there as excited to see the mudskippers as I was. This aquarium offers ear defenders for loan, so I gave them a try. Sadly, the comfort provided by a reduction of Big Noises was cancelled out by the discomfort of wearing them and the overall too-muffled aspect.
Still to do today: Adding text or voice over (it all depends on how I'm feeling as to which) to this process video.
Next week: Cutting out the fabric for some more clothes (I'd fallen off the fibre arts bingo due to injury but I'm back in the game, baby, and I need some shorts) and going through more old video files. This next project should be easier. Also, next week: more writing.
