Wow! It's May!!

It's still aggressively spring, with ping-ponging weather that goes from warm and dry to cool and rainy. Currently it is like we're being misted by a large spray bottle, the funniest kind of rain.

By and large, most of this week's work has been: finishing cleaning up and consolidating my tumblr tags. Which! May seem very silly, but in this household we do metadata cleanup for fun. Plus, the way I structured out my to-dos this month that's basically all I had left to check off. We're on high probability that I'll finish by the end of the day, AMAZING.

  • I also finished up the newsletter going out tomorrow, usual as always at the handy link (once it has posted), or throw it into your RSS or even let it come to you inbox, etc etc.
  • I mended some knit wrist warmer things, even though I hate mending knits. They're one of the few wool items I own because wool and I are not friends, but this task did justify the small skein of wool yarn I keep around.
  • The blogpost this month was a roundup of what I read in April, which I'm enjoying doing.

Aaaaand, other than household things and plotting out the next month, that's it! Which is fine!! This tumblr tag cleanup has been most of my free time, this week which is fair as I'm looking at 2.5k tags, with less than half easily ascribable to "talking in tags." Considering that I've also spent this month prepping everything up for serialising a book, I don't feel like I'm slacking--and also who cares if I am? I am enjoying some chill time getting to do a thing I love (metadata cleanup), before getting back into the grind (writing a book, sewing clothes, finishing long-unfinished projects).

Thank you as always for your support!
