I need you to know I apologised to the opossum before I took a flash photo and when the flash went off they did NOT care, they were munching something probably on a shelf against the other side of the wall. Or an abandoned squirrel orange that had been on the wall. They were busy and unaware of me and it was wonderful.

This week I finished the Flash Fiction February collected zine and I'll get it up early next week. That's FIVE collected zines of flash over the years, wow yay hooray. This means I also need to queue up some faves from last year to run in the blog and add community copies to last year's collection.

I also fixed Chase's slippers, which had worn in a way that looks like they'd been shot. The post about it I made for Tumblr got a "Mature" content label auto applied to it for no reason I can ascertain, so you might not be able to see it, I've requested a second review but I doubt they've people to do so, alas. There's something wonderful about making something that gets used so much it has to be mended (see: my coat).

I am! Making! Progress! On the boring thing I don't want to talk about yet, hooray. Almost done. I have like... a couple more things to do, some will be locked-post worthy. Honestly let's put a loose date of end of April about it. Mostly because I'm taking my normal Spring PTO week and will have the juice for it all.

Also progress made on Writing Project Distracting Me #4 and next month's newsletter, hooray.

I really feel like I'm often chasing a series of writing projects, each one distracting me from the next, like I'm the stick getting passed from one racer to another. Then I guess the folks in the stands are the carefully filed and partly-begun and noted projects that are basically in stasis. Ugh, whatever! A little work on something regularly will finish things, I know this.

Thank you as always for your support, it so nice to share the world with you.
