I make tabletop rpgs. Subscribers get digital versions of every game I've made as well as early versions of future games!
Hi there! I’m Adam Bell, designer of tabletop games like Grasping Nettles, Legend Has It, No Stone Unturned, and My Brain is a Stick of Butter. You can check out the digital versions of my games at https://adamebell.itch.io, or physical versions at adamebell.games.

I make games that facilitate storytelling and am super interested in combining elements of tabletop roleplaying games (if you’ve heard of D&D, that’s what I mean) with ideas from modern board games.
This comradery page is where I’ll be posting completed games, works in progress, and more. If you support me, you’ll get access to a folder with pdfs of all of my games (including some unreleased ones), updates with WIP playtest documents, and other insights into the process of making my games.
Milestone: $6 of $100 / month
This level of support will let me devote more time to sharing my process with the comradery page and expand on what I do here! I'll start by do a monthly live stream on youtube for subscribers only where we can chat about games and what's going on.

Recently I started a blog & newsletter over on itch.io called Haunted Walrus. The basic idea of it is each week I explain a specific mechanic from a board game I enjoy and then think about how I'd use that mechanic in the types of tabletop rpgs I like to design. There are three posts so far... Continue reading

This new series will complement the publishing series so I can focus more on logistics there while still giving folks who are interested an explainer of the game itself in these vids. enjoy!

When I applied to join the Comradery cooperative, I was an intentionally unemployed game designer trying to see if it was possible for me to eke out a living by designing and publishing tabletop games. I've long toyed with the idea of starting a patreon for one reason or another--the monthly donatio... Continue reading

PreambleHey there! Comradery as a platform is still in alpha, and following suit I'd say my project here is in alpha as well. I'm still doing some thinking on how I want to engage with it, what should go here vs. what I should put over on HYPT since life got alittle hectic for both of us right about... Continue reading
